What is a DVD keepsake?
PDM combines your photos and video with music of your choice to create a
digital movie you can show at any event or in the comfort of your home. We
bring your images to life on a DVD, using personalized details from you
combined with our unique style. Our DVDs will last a lifetime, allowing you
to enjoy the moment over and over.

How does the process work?
The process begins with a personalized consultation to determine your
exact requirements and gather all necessary media. We may ask for a
theme or mood; music interests and dislikes; specific photo captions (if
appropriate); titles or dedications (if appropriate); special sequencing, etc.
After the consultation, PDM will begin to transform your media into a
personalized keepsake reflecting your tastes and requirements. A proof
will be available for approval before final production. Upon approval, PDM
will produce your project and all personalized graphical elements and
deliver the keepsake to your doorstep.

What if I don't have a lot of time to be involved in the process?
PDM realizes that most people have little time to create those special things
that mean so much. We are a completely personalized and flexible service
tailored to meet those needs. We will determine your vision and take it
from there. The only time requirement is handing over you media and
proofing the project before final production. All of this can be accomplished
via e-mail, in-person meetings and telephone. If you prefer to have more
input, we are happy to include you in more of the creation process, as
requested. Our mission is work within your schedule and needs to achieve
a meaningful and stress free creation.

What is the preferred format to submit my pictures and video?
PDM will accept photos and video in any format you have available. To
save you time and money, digital format is preferred, but loose photos and
analog video are workable.

Can I submit copyrighted photos?
Yes, provided that you have obtained written permission of the
photographer.

Can I include video clips along with my photos?
Yes, each clip costs $10.00 extra and should be under 2 minutes in length.
Each clip must be clearly marked. To avoid additional fees, please submit
your video in a digital format. MiniDV or VHS formats can be converted for
a fee.

What if I don’t have digital photos or video?
If you do not have a scanner or other means of digitizing your photos, we
will be happy to scan, crop and enhance your photos (as needed) for just
$1.00 per photo. We also work with vintage photos and albums.
If you do not have the ability to convert VHS tapes and Mini DV to digital
format for a keepsake creation, we can handle that for $3.00 per video
segment utilized in the production. Other video formats are possible,
please check with PDM today to discuss.

Can I choose my own music for my DVD keepsake?
Yes, we encourage you to use songs that have special meaning to you and
the event. This is what creates the mood for the keepsake. If you require
assistance with song selection, we are more than happy to guide you. Due
to music copyright laws, we ask that you adhere to and agree the DVD
keepsake is being used for your own personal use and not for profit. PDM
will adhere to all copyright laws.

How long does it take to create the DVD keepsake?
Each project is usually completed within two weeks. However, the time it
takes us to create your video depends on a variety of factors. If you need
your video in less than a week, this can be arranged – rush fees may apply.

What is included in my purchase?
Every DVD keepsake package includes; a personalized consultation, a
proof package, 2 fully produced DVD’s in cases, DVD menus, music to fit
production, titles, captions, any special messages, transitions and credits,
CD of sourced music (if applicable).

Will you convert my video tapes to DVD format?
Yes, PDM does more than just DVD keepsake creations. Many of you
have wedding videos, vacations or other special event footage captured on
tapes which will deteriorate over time. PDM can convert those videos to a
DVD format which will preserve those memories more effectively. Fees
vary based on the amount of customization required, starting at $15 per
tape for a basic conversion with no menus.

Yes, in addition to DVD format (NTSC or PAL), we offer digital output in the

The DVD’s that we create are burned on DVD+R media, which is
compatible with the majority of home DVD players. If you require DVD-R
media, please let us know. If you are unsure which type your DVD player
